About Our Schools

IFEMBA International Academy, Akanu Ohafia started in rented and uncompleted buildings in 2008 but moved into a purpose built academic and administration complex in March 2010. The complex consists of four three-level buildings fused together with a total of 32 classrooms, four laboratories and a large multi-purpose conference hall.

At full capacity, the school is designed to accommodate 1200 students. Currently, there are about 500 students out of which 150 reside on campus. In January 2011, boarding students moved into a newly built boarding house equipped with modern facilities including study halls, dining room, toilets, water and power supply. As enrollment and demand for both classroom and boarding space increase, there are plans to build more self contained housing facilities for students.

Additional capital requirements include construction of a permanent sports ground with appropriate facilities for training and locker rooms for privacy. Due to growing demand for expanded services, the proprietors are actively soliciting grants and support from non-profit and philanthropic organizations and individuals.

About Our Program

Building These Schools

Our organization purchases the land and utilizes our contractors to coordinate the project and get the architecture in place. Once the architecture is ready, we work to build the school. After the school is finished, we staff it with teachers.

Setting up the Curriculum

IFEMBA International Academy is certified and approved by Abia State Ministry of Education in Nigeria. The curriculum we use is established by the Ministry. Through strict monitoring and supervision of our teaching staff, the school administration ensures that the curriculum is followed and covered at every level of study.

Completed and Future Projects

Within five years of inception, we built and moved into an integrated academic and administrative complex as well as a block of living quarters for our students. We are looking for support to construct sports facilities, additional boarding houses for boys and girls, modern library, laboratories and a computer learning center.
